At HIC Rentals, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to offer a fair refund based on when the cancellation is made relative to your rental start date. Here’s a breakdown:
Cancellations Made 72 Hours or More Before Rental Start Date
Customers who cancel their reservation at least 72 hours in advance will receive a 75% refund of the total rental amount, minus a $25 processing fee.
Cancellations Made Less Than 72 Hours But More Than 48 Hours Before Rental Start Date
For cancellations within 48 to 72 hours before the start date, a 50% refund of the total rental amount is issued.
Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours But More Than 24 Hours Before Rental Start Date
Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the rental period will receive a 25% refund of the total rental amount.
Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours Before Rental Start Date
Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start time are not eligible for a refund.
To cancel a reservation, please contact our team via email at sales@hicrentals.com. Note that cancellations are only considered effective once you receive a confirmation email from our team. This ensures we have a clear record and that your cancellation has been processed correctly.
If you don’t arrive to pick up the trailer within 1 hour of the agreed-upon rental start time and haven’t provided prior notification, your reservation will be classified as a no-show. In the event of a no-show, the total rental fee is forfeited, and no refund will be issued. This policy helps us manage trailer availability effectively and ensures that trailers are available for other customers who may need them.
Once you’ve rented a trailer, the rental fee covers the entire period specified, even if you decide to return it early. No refunds are issued for early returns. We encourage customers to plan their rental period accurately to make the most of the rental time.
If you need to make adjustments to your reservation—such as changing the rental dates—please contact us at least 48 hours before the rental start time. Modifications are subject to trailer availability, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your changes. Prompt communication helps us ensure that your revised booking meets your needs.
